How is a rate worked out?
On weight or volume, whichever is greater. Send origin, destination, quintals, and cargo type and a written rate follows within two hours.
What paperwork do you need?
For domestic loads just the goods invoice and the receiver’s name and phone. Corridor work also needs the bill of lading, packing list, bank permit, and your TIN.
Is there a charge if the truck waits?
Six free hours for loading and for unloading. Beyond that waiting time is 1,200 ETB a day, though delays caused by customs at the dry port are not counted.
